MCS – Multiple Chemical Sensitivity

Multiple Chemical Sensitivities is an affliction which causes a person to have severe sensitivity or allergy-like reaction to many different kinds of pollutants such as paint fumes, smoke, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and other agricultural chemicals, plastics, synthetic fabrics, glues, varnishes, polishes, solvents, paint thinners, bleach, fabric softeners, laundry detergents, perfumes, lotions, aftershave, nail polish, scented products, pet fur dander and petroleum–based products including tar or asphalt.
