Tobacco Smoke/ Smoke

Breathing secondhand smoke or smoke from a wood burning stove or fireplaces can be harmful to your health and cause asthma attacks, severe bronchitis, aggravate heart and lung disease and may increase the likelihood of respiratory illnesses.

Secondhand smoke is classified as a "known human carcinogen" (cancer-causing agent) by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US National Toxicology Program, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). This pollutant is one of the hardest to eliminate or at least keep somewhat under control.

The Aireox will reduce up to 60% of the amount of smoke emitted when a smoker is present and total elimination is obtained anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour after the tobacco is extinguished, depending on the concentration.
